Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care
WestVet is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to provide emergency care for sick or injured pets. Our animal hospital is equipped with in-house diagnostic laboratory tests, x-ray, oxygen support, and a CT scanner to provide the most effective diagnosis and treatment.
WestVet surgeons are the only board certified small animal surgeons in the state of Idaho. They have extensive experience and expertise in the areas of orthopedics, general surgery, and spinal surgery. Our veterinary surgeons teach workshops and lecture nationwide.
WestVet has equipped our board-certified ophthalmologists with advanced equipment to provide your pet with the highest level of medical and surgical care. We perform cataract surgery, corneal surgery, and provide medical care for ailments.
Veterinary Internal Medicine
Three of the veterinarians at WestVet are board certified veterinary internists. They provide treatment for diseases and disorders in several areas, including endocrinology, gastroenterology, infectious disease, respiratory diseases, hematology, and urology.
