Westvet Animal Emergency & Specialty center offers animal care to the Treasure Valley 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. If your pet is experiencing an emergency or sudden illness, please come directly to the animal hospital. We have a team of critical care veterinarians and technicians on staff to assist you immediately.
In addition, to our animal emergency hospital, every day, our team of veterinary specialists partner with area general practice veterinarians to offer extended veterinary care and provide state-of-the-art veterinary medicine to your pets.
What is a specialist?
A veterinary specialist has completed rigorous, advanced training in one specific area of veterinary medicine beyond earning their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. WestVet is home to Idaho's only small animal center of board-certified specialists in the areas of surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, radiology, dermatology, and more.
